Surrender to the Sea
Living by the sea has deepened my awareness of coastal erosion and its growing impact. Hele Bay, formed over 400 million years ago, features striking rock formations sculpted by immense geological pressure. One of its defining characteristics is the presence of thin white quartz veins, forced between rock layers under high pressure. I sought to capture this dramatic structure in Surrender to the Sea (Watch Where You Tread – Beacon Point).
