North Devon Hydrangeas 2025
North Devon overflows with hydrangeas, each blossom a marvel of intricate architecture — delicate lacework woven by nature’s hand. Clustered petals gather into magnificent spheres, their hues shifting like moods with the character of the soil. This alchemy of colour, so influenced by the earth beneath them, fascinates me. To honour this paradox of strength and fragility, I chose to reimagine them in three dimensions, capturing their lace-like elegance in a form both tangible and enduring.
