A Sheffield style penknife made to facilitate engagement with material gathered from the Great North Wood.

The knife has one carving blade and one awl to enable one to whittle wooden flowers. All parts were handmade. The steel parts were heat treated with the up most of care but finished with a focus on utility. I ended up making two batches of these knives. One had sales made from London plane, the other hornbeam. The wood for the scales was stabilised in cactus juice but left untreated so they will darken over time when handled.
