Mantis
his chair was designed to push the boundaries of wood lamination as a process. This is a technique that enables wood to take a new and exciting form. Slicing the wood into delicate 0.6mm layers, it becomes possible to bend, twist and reshape wood in ways that would be impossible with solid timber. Crafted from sapele with an oiled finish, the chair is completed with green leather upholstery, adding comfort and a tactile contrast to its sculptural frame.
