Theo works predominantly with solid wood to create furniture that will age gracefully and thus be handed down through generations. The patina of age afforded by careful selection of materials is something to be treasured. This is in contrast to the use of board materials and veneers which so often, when damaged, tend just to be thrown away. Alongside his workshop practice, he is also planting woodland with the aim of future sustainable timber production.
