My practice focuses on the contemporary exploration of traditional hand embroidery craft through a playful and experimental approach to texture, colour and scale. I combine these techniques with the art of felt making. A process where I paint with fibers and create felted paintings onto which I embroider.
Inspired by folklore and mythology my work tells personal and universal stories of daily life and mental well-being. Bringing to light the immense power that textiles have to empower us.
