Handcrafted brushes by Slow Made Goods
Join Crafts Council in conversation with a selection of makers handpicked from our online directory on Thursday 26 May from 6-7pm at Liberty.
In this panel talk we will discuss the incredible resurgence of crafting during lockdown and the importance of supporting small British brands.
We'll be joined by woodturning design duo Barnaby Ash & Dru Plumb, visual artists Sarah Emily Porter and James Trundle, wooden brush maker Ewen Brown aka Slow Made Goods and small-batch ceramicist Isatu Hyde. Each maker's emphasis on functional design and brand consciousness will make for an engaging conversation on the craft industry today, whilst offering guidance to aspiring makers looking to shape craft's future.
Come along to gain insight into the practice of some of the country's most inspiring independent artisans. There'll also be time for a question and answer session at the end.
- Tickets are £5
