Letter carving:-Restaurant sign and public inscriptions
Private clients usually give me a free rein as to the style and size of font as in the case of ‘Mortimer’s on the Quay’ a restaurant sign and the Hendon Jubilee post which had been a fundraising event for the village to commemorate this event. But sometimes the clients are quite prescriptive and this was the case of the sign for the new cricket pavilion of Uppingham school which, understandably, had to fit into an existing space.
