Submission piece to the Shrewsbury Arts Trail 2024 on the theme of time. The free-standing mosaic developed out of drone photos of the geologically interesting limestone escarpment of Wenlock Edge. Once a tropical seabed millions of years ago, travelling across it was always a symbol of being homeward bound over the years. The textured surface is an amalgamation of glass shapes, nuggets and hand-cut stained glass with a colour palette inspired by David Hockney's Yorkshire landscape series, 500mm
