‘Functional Art’ is the inspiration behind this handmade, versatile piece. It functions as chess/draughts board and can also be used as an ottoman tray or be hung as wall art. Made from American Walnut, Scottish Elm, Bog Oak and resin. The checker squares are made with beautiful burr Elm and white resin. The ‘playing’ surface is framed with Fenland Bog Oak. Black and gold coloured resin surrounds the playing surface. Optional extras include cross legs and box both made from American Walnut.
