As a woodworker, I specialise in creating functional art from UK-grown hardwoods, with a focus on preserving and showcasing the natural beauty of burrs and live edges.

I work with fine UK-sourced hardwoods, specialising in pieces that highlight the natural beauty of burrs and live edges. By incorporating resin, I’m able to preserve these unique characteristics, which are often lost in traditional timber processing. Each piece is carefully planned—sometimes sketched, always visualised—before being brought to life. By pushing the boundaries of wood and resin combinations, my work is not only practical, but also distinctively different within this medium.

Focus:
I focus on creating distinctive, functional art pieces using predominantly UK-grown hardwoods. My work celebrates the natural beauty of the timber—particularly the burrs and live edges.
Commissions:

I use sustainably grown hardwoods such as oak, elm, and ash, sourced locally to reduce my environmental impact. By incorporating resin with live edge wood, I give new use to timber that might otherwise be incinerated - avoiding unnecessary CO₂ emissions. My aim is to create high-quality, long-lasting products that support a more sustainable, low-waste alternative to mass-produced homeware.
