Ongoing research supported by funding from the Arts Council England. I am compiling a portfolio of heritage processes using foraged and collected seasonal plants to revive sustainable, circular and low waste textile print and dye processes historically practised across South Asia.

The sample is a case study based on 'Ajrak' printing, a traditional block-printing technique originated in the Sindh province of Pakistan, where a variation of the original process is practiced to-date. No harmful chemicals, polluting water produced. Minimal Carbon Emissions.
