AWEN - a Pop Shop - Handcrafted Collection

Featuring Cornish Woodsmith, Eleanor Russell-Hsieh, Lizzie Kirwan Ceramics, Dreamspell Jewellery and Weaver Rae

A small collective of us are hosting a Pop-Up Shop at Studio 9 in Totnes. Kindred spirits that we have named AWEN: a word rooted with Celtic origin meaning 'Imagination, Inspiration, Muse’ ~ An exploration into the nostalgic connection between nature and craft ~ Awen also translates as breeze in Welsh and gale in Cornish There will be work by: Eleanor Russell-Hsieh and her dry point illustrations; silversmith Sophie of Dreamspell Jewellery, handcrafted nature-inspired greenwood pieces by Dom of Cornish Woodsmith; organic ceramic forms by Lizzie Kirwan Ceramics and my handwoven British wool accessories too inspired by tide, tor and folklore. You will find us transform Studio 9 into Mother Nature’s living room of sorts, between Monday 15th and Saturday 20th September. Opening times approx. 10 am - 4pm. Please note, regrettably there is no wheelchair to this shop due to it being tiny with steep stairs.
