Through the materiality of her work; Tracy reminds the viewer that despite feeling discarded or overlooked we have beauty and value. Discarded materials are given new purpose, value and significance. Tracy uses waste by-products or things that would usually go to landfill to fill the void within the large sculptures, like polystyrene from packaging that has been sent to her. She seeks to become more and more sustainable in her practice.
