Sisters

In this work I explore notions of repetition and rhythm through a traditional jewellery motif, the beaded necklace. Round beads are cut directly from the same stone; some are taller, some shorter. Each bead lends itself to the next; although from the same starting point, each reveals it’s own identity through subtle differences when looked at closely.
