My dyes I make from plants. I use plants growing in the local countryside (often referred to as weeds), my garden and plant extracts. I use commercially spun and my own hand spun yarn. I use fleece from British sheep breeds and non super wash yarns. My garment and hat designs are explorations, inspired by using, new to me sheep breeds and hues of colour. Sustainability and limited resources are key to my business. Wool is the future.
Focus:
Natural dyeing and making with wool. I prefer to use traditional processes.
Sustainability and limited resources are key to my business. I use natural dyes from plants which grow in my local countryside and use locally sourced wool from Sussex and Kent.
