Venetian Smalti Mosaic depicting an Arctic Tern in flight. Inspired by the Terns that nest at The Point of Ayre on the Isle of Man where I was born and spend most summers. I have huge respect for these birds as they migrate the furthest of any bird and my depiction of the background suggests a cathedral like status. 1150 x 300mm
