I am a ceramic artist creating slip cast pieces in porcelain or parian.

I am a designer-maker working in ceramics. An experienced professional illustrator, I use my drawing skills to carve my drawings into clay. I make my own plaster moulds and slip cast each piece. I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University MA Design:Craft in 2021. I was awarded the Top Franz Rising Stars Award 2020/21, an international porcelain prize. A keen birdwatcher, I raise awareness of the conservation status of red-list British bird species. I rely on the visual similarity of fossils to ceramics sprigs, creating a metaphor for the threat to our native birds’ existence.
