I'm an award-winning textile-based graphic designer and craft educator. Through my adaption of the culturally-rich medium of quilting, I celebrate and document Black history through a critical lens, whilst challenging distorted historical narratives.
As a craft educator, I produce workshops that engage people with craft, history, and archival collections. I emphasise the importance of documenting history and creative expression as tools for empowerment and self-expression.
Whilst working with textiles, I always aim to use recycled and second-hand textiles where possible.
