Design–Nation
Somerset House
EAST WING, E7
For almost a quarter of a century, Design-Nation’s leading membership portfolio has championed excellence in UK-based makers and designers, creating innovative and inclusive opportunities for the contemporary design and craft sector. Design-Nation is distinctive for both supporting and promoting designer/makers through its partnership programmes. The membership portfolio is selected by an independent panel of experts, and comprises an impressive collection of highly skilled craftspeople whose work demonstrates authenticity and exceptional design ability.
At Collect 2024, selected members will present highly refined and thoughtful objects that push the boundaries of making practice. Their work is exquisitely crafted and explores important contemporary issues, embracing neurodiversity, loss, craft as sculpture, the natural world and land usage.
