Bullseye Projects
Founded in 1999, Bullseye Projects explores contemporary glass with makers, designers and viewers through touring exhibitions and collaborations with museums, schools and arts organisations around the world. Bullseye Projects works with international artists to create installations for The Byre, a unique exhibition space in Caithness, Scotland.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Bullseye Projects is the exhibition and special events wing of Bullseye Glass Co., a manufacturer of handcrafted coloured glass for art and architecture. Started in 1974 by three recent university arts graduates, the company has been instrumental in the development of many fundamental materials and methods at the core of contemporary kiln-glass. Bullseye Glass Co. also collaborates with artists, operates a fabrication studio, underwrites materials research and develops educational programmes.
