Design–Nation
Design-Nation’s leading membership programme champions excellence in UK-based makers and designers, creating innovative and inclusive opportunities for the contemporary design and craft sector for 25 years. Design-Nation works with partners and independent industry experts, supporting and promoting a carefully selected portfolio of highly skilled craftspeople who demonstrate authenticity and exceptional design ability.
For Collect 2025, Design-Nation presents a baker’s dozen of craft professionals who explore juxtapositions and contrasts in finely honed artwork. These makers test tensions between order and disorder, between human-formed and natural forms, between the newly created and the re-imagined past. Respect for material, shape and structure is paramount. Elements brought together in new and unexpected combinations create highly collectible objects for the 21st century.
