Design-Nation
For over 20 years, Design-Nation’s leading membership portfolio has celebrated the diversity of UK-based makers and designers. A joyful range of collectible objects will be presented: beautiful, sensitively crafted and multi-hued. Exhibits include two- and three-dimensional wall-hung artworks, decorative vessels, jewellery, sculpture and tableware in ceramic, glass, leather, metal, paper, textile and wood.
Design-Nation is distinctive both for its support and promotion of designer/makers, and its partnership programmes. The portfolio, selected by an independent expert panel, Comprises a rich pool of highly skilled designer-makers whose collective works demonstrate authentic, exceptional craftsmanship and design ability. In collaboration with UK-wide partners, champions and funders, Design-Nation’s aim is to strengthen business and creative development opportunities for the contemporary design and craft sector.
