Woodlouse With a Party Hat

I am a textile artist concerned with exploring commentaries on social and political events. I am heavily influenced by punk and patch culture, exploring a mix of two and three dimensional forms. This work follows a monochrome colour palette with eye catching red accents, exploring hand embroidery, embellishment and textile printing. With a deep rooted belief in expression of self and altering self-perception my pieces focus on being transformative and informative, either for myself or others.
